All you need to know about shooting in Paris

Dernière mise à jour : 30 janv.

If you're planning to shoot in Paris, French Fixers is there to help you.

We've organized countless shoots in Paris from the suburbs to the city center.

Whatever your project may be, documentary, news, TV, advertising, corporate video, we have the expertise to assist you.

We can guide you from the hidden gems to the greatest panoramic views of the city.

Location scout

No matter what you are looking for (an hausmanian apartment, a specific type of street, a warehouse, a studio, a restaurant, a suburban house, a unique shoot angle of the Eiffel Tower...) we have the knowledge, the eye and the tools to help you find it.

Film Permit

TV News crew and small documentary crew often do not need film permit in Paris.

For bigger projects, fiction, corporate video and advertising, a film permit is required and we will have it all fixed your crew.

This permit is free for streets and bridges. Gardens, parks, sport facilities, monuments and river banks imply a shooting fee.

Film crew

We have all the contacts to build a professional bilingual film crew : director, DP, photographer, camera operator, camera assistant (focus puller), sound operator, grip, gaffer, stylist, hair and makeup, PA / runner and production driver.

Salaries and legislation in France

Please note that production must pay 62% social security on crew wages.

A standard shoot day is 8 hours but it can usually be negotiated to a 10 hour day including an hour break break for lunch. The maximum allowed shoot day by law is 12 hours.
